Shark, Tiger, and Squirrel are delightful home-educated triplets, aged 12, now following the BRILLIANT project Mapping the World with Art by Ellen McHenry.

This blog is where I can remind them what we're do, and tell remote members of our group what we're about.

The last history/culture project we followed through these pages was based around the book Wild Swans by Jung Chang. It served as a focus for a two-year stint in Hong Kong.

Now, if you like, you can imagine all of our home educated tribe sitting here, bent over desks, reading dull extracts and doing worksheets, just like skool.

How wrong you'd be. How wonderfully, delightfully, fantastically misguided you would be, and how much pleasure I take from that, you can only imagine.
